Beauty Gadgets : From Dreams to Reality

It was one socializing night, as one prominent technology blogger asked what I blogged about. I told him I blogged about beauty tools and gadgets. With that, he instantly asked if I could thrive in that niche long enough, or if I had enough topics to talk about. My answer was, “you won’t believe it, but beauty tools and gadgets are an emerging trend.
In this day and age, technology is out of control. It is progressing at an exponential speed, and is evident in the abundance of mobile phones (to the point that you just don’t know what to buy anymore), computer models, and all those stuff. Well, all I can say is that in the beauty industry, tools and gadgets are slowly making its way into being household staples for the modern woman (or man, for that matter).

I would fondly think about beauty products when I was young in a magical perspective. I sometimes wished that my pimples would disappear in an instant, and I would do anything to get that “magic wand.” Lo and behold, Zeno Pro Acne Clearing Device emerged, as well as challenger Thermaclear. Baby Blue is to be released sometime soon as a pimple zapping device from the makers of Baby Quasar. The thought that the people from the beauty industry were able to come up with such product is amazing. It made me thankful that I am living in this day and age, and I felt that anything is just possible right now!
Way back, people who would go the salon extra early to have their hair styled or even blow dried because they were having difficulty fixing their hair. Nowadays, the department store has a shelf full of hair styling products such as ceramic hair irons that can even straighten wet hair in a snap, as well as really powerful blow driers that promise your hair that humidity won’t be able to spoil your great hair day. They even work fast that women on the go would be able to look great in a jiffy while rushing to their meetings. Even the spa can be brought at home. The Nu Skin Galvanic Spa brings instant face lifting, and skin calming results that you would look like you just came out from a spa. (Read Beauty Gizmo’s review here.)

Of course, beauty gadgets and tools aren’t just confined to electrical gadgets. Of course, there are the non-electrical ones like the classic eyelash curlers, tweezers, and such, but their ergonomics just become more developed and studied about in such a way that the results are more natural, bordering perfect. Faking it has never been this easy!
I’m pretty sure that by next year, the beauty market would be swarmed with more beauty gadgets and tools as great do-it-yourself collectibles at home that would promise you instant, great results without spending big bucks outside for services, or leaving your home. They’re such perfect creations for people with busy lifestyles who would want to look great.
So, I think I’ll be having more and more stuff to blog about!
