Every change of season gives us an opportunity for self renewal. Whether you are ready to re-introduce color into your look, simplify your life with a little spring cleaning, re-focus on your health, or try out completely new makeup and hair tricks, this issue of the Beauty Ideal is here to lead you in the right direction. As we shed our layers and welcome longer days, spring truly gives us a chance to be reborn.

Spring also offers the perfect opportunity to spread our newly re-welcomed warmth to those around. Every year as spring was approaching my grandmother would gather up candies and special treats for all the children she knew and put them into little gift bags. Then, she would patiently wait to see her first robin of the new year. As soon as she saw this beautiful red-chested bird she would give all of the children their own “robin bag” as a way to celebrate the start of spring.

We can all make our own tradition to mark how we designate the beginning of spring and share it with others. Enjoy!
